Sunday, October 4 2009 - Farewell Brunch at Schmidt Art Center, Southwestern Illinois College from 10:30a.m. - 1p.m. The BTHS Class of 1959 remembers well the two quonset huts that comprised the Belleville Junior College in that year and have asked their classmates to endow a permanent scholarship at Southwestern Illinois College in the name of their class. It is for that reason that the reunion will include the brunch in the Schmidt Art Center on Sunday so the class members can see what a wonderful college has evolved from those small buildings they remember on their old campus at BTHS.
